Objective: SWBAT describe the events which cause Annie to become more distant from both her mother and Gwen.

Today: 1) Class will share-out Do-Nows and discuss reasons why friends grow apart. Class will review the relationship between Annie and Gwen.
2) Class will begin to read chapter #6: “Somewhere, Belgium,” focusing on how Annie and Gwen’s friendship is beginning to fall apart.
3) Students will finish reading chapter #6, examining how Annie and her mother’s relationship is deteriorating.
4) Students will begin review questions for chapter #6.
