Objective: SWBAT evaluate Amir’s choice not to help Hassan and describe what this shows the reader about Amir’s characters.
Do-Now: Why is the kite competition so important to Amir? Why is the competition so important to Hassan? What do these different reasons reveal about each of the boys and their motivations?
