Objective: SWBAT describe the friendship between Amir and Hassan.
Do-Now: Describe your best friend. Where did you meet him/her? How long have you two been friends? What qualities does he/she possess which you admire?
Today: 1) Class will begin to read Chapter #4. What is the relationship like between Ali and Baba as they are growing up? How has it changed now that they are adults?
2) Class will continue reading Chapter #4, focusing on the friendship between Hassan and Amir as children.
